Since its inauguration in 2017, the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon has grown into a major event, being the only city marathon listed in the AIMS World Running calendar. The marathon is an opportunity for participants to pay tribute to the men and women who serve in the Air Force, Army, and Navy. A portion of the proceeds from this event is directed towards initiatives supporting the welfare of Indian Armed Forces personnel and their families, reinforcing our dedication to those who safeguard our nation.
As part of our commitment to education and community development, Adani Defence & Aerospace proudly supports Ankur School. This is a key initiative of the Army Navy Air Force Wives Activity Trust (ANAWA Trust) in New Delhi with a focus on educating nearly 300 underprivileged children. We are humbled to support certain infrastructure facilities at The Pinewood School, Hamirpur enabling our mission of nurturing young minds and contributing to the future of our nation.
In a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of the Kargil War, we collaborated with the Ekam Satt Foundation to support a musical event in Leh, led by the acclaimed artist Ameya Dabli. The Chair of Excellence for Defence supports critical research, enhancing national security awareness and contributing to the development of India’s future defence leaders.
In a significant move towards strengthening India's defence future, we have partnered with the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS). This collaboration includes the establishment of the Adani Defence Chair of Excellence, focusing on research and innovation in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Warfare and Counter UAS technologies. This partnership highlights our commitment to enhancing India’s defence infrastructure and operational excellence.
We are committed to planting one million trees by 2030 across all our sites (Kanpur, Hyderabad, and Gwalior), achieving a total green cover of 241 acres. This initiative will help reduce carbon emissions, promote eco-friendly practices, and enhance the quality of life for local communities. Through this, we demonstrate our dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
Located in Okhla, New Delhi, our state-of-the-art R&D Centre is a hub of innovation, pioneering advancements in cutting-edge defence technologies. Our focus areas include developing Seeker systems for precision-guided munitions, Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs) for underwater reconnaissance and surveillance, and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) for explosive ordnance disposal, reconnaissance, and combat operations.
